KODAIKANNAL: The earliest residents of Kodaikanal were the Palaiyar tribal people. The earliest specific references to Kodaikanal and the Palani Hills are found in Tamil Sangam literature of the early Common Era

DAY 01

BANGALORE -KODAIKANNAL: Departure to Kodaikannal by Special Coach at 9.00 PM.

DAY 02


Arrival at Kodaikannal by 6.00 AM. Check in at Hotel. After Fresh up and Breakfast, Visit Coaker’s Walk - offers some of the best views of the plains below. Green Valley View - It commands a beautiful view of the entire Vaigai Dam. Pillar Rocks - The boulders stand shoulder to shoulder vertical to a height of 400 ft providing a beautiful view. Silver Cascade - Kodaikanal at a wide bend in the long and winding Laws Ghat Road, 180 FT waterfall formed from the outflow of Kodaikanal Lake. Back to hotel, After Fresh up & dinner. Night Halt at Kodaikannal.

DAY 03


After Fresh up and Breakfast. Visit Kurinji Andavar Temple - is famous for its Kurinji flower which blossoms in the area only once every 12 years. Brayand Park - Situated on the eastern side of the lake, is noted for flowers, hybrids and rafts, Varities of flowers can be seen in a glasshouse. The annual horticultural show is held here. Kodai Lake - roughly star-shaped 45 ha (60 acres) lake built in 1863, Cycling, Horse Riding & Shopping. After Dinner, Departure to Bangalore by 9.00 PM

Arrival at Bangalore by 5.00 AM
